The shortest route will mostly take in Limburg’s hills and the fruit-growing region around Eijsden-Margraten. Needless to say, cyclists will pass the Valkenburg caves and the Cauberg hill.
After having passed the top of this world famous climb the route continuous to the fruit region of Eijsden-Margraten. This municipality in the heart of South-Limburg offers a great number of small and picturesque hamlets. The centres of the towns are usually located around the church and the café. Don’t forget to stop at these places and have a nice chat with the locals. Having left Eijsden-Margraten we make way towards Valkenburg where after 65 kilometres the finish awaits you.
